What is a Non-Disclosure Agreement?

A Non-Disclosure Agreement (also known as an NDA) is a legal document which a business or individual enters into with the objective of keeping certain information confidential.

What does a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) do?

A Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) can protect a business’s sensitive commercial information. For example, if a company wishes to give a contractor sensitive business information, it may want to take measures to ensure that the contractor will not disclose that information to the company's competitors. That’s where a Non-Disclosure Agreement can come in handy.

Why do you need a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)?

You will need an NDA to help ensure the confidentiality of your business commercial information.

What are the benefits of a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)?

A Non-Disclosure Agreement gives a business confidence in its interactions with a counter-party. It creates an environment for trust to be built between parties and for projects to be completed.

How much does an NDA cost?

Here at Pacific, we like to give fixed prices for all of our work. If you would like us to create an NDA, our prices begin from £400.00; to negotiate an NDA our prices begin from £300.00; to review an NDA our prices begin from £200.00. Contact us for a precise quote.

What is the process once I decide to instruct Pacific?

If you would like us to create an NDA for you, we shall open a file and request payment before we begin work. We’ll then schedule a time for us to delve into your reasons for creating the NDA, along with the nature of the information which you are looking to protect from disclosure. Once we have done so, we’ll prepare the first draft of an NDA for you to review. We allow clients to revise the NDA once - after we have incorporated any of your amendments, we’ll send you a final version for you to use straightaway.
